We were learning about our pepeha. We used pastels to colour it. I used the pastels to colour grass and trees and also the rocks and the water. We also used a pencil. The pencil was to colour the outlines of our pepeha. I enjoy colouring the pepeha because I like drawing pictures.

THE SCARY TSUNAMI
This Friday on the 5th of March there was a tsunami warning in Paihia and Paihia School went up a mountain so kids could be safe. People who live around the mountain helped the kids by giving food and also they let the kids use their toilets. My friend played What’s the time Mr. Wolf while we were on the mountain. The people who live up the mountain gave the kids candy and also a hot dog at the end of the day. At the end of the day we walked back down and there was no tsunami. When I went home I was thinking our country was lucky.
